JT turns 7! We had a small family party on Thursday because Zack had baseball and Brevin had the pinewood derby. So we had brownies and opened his gifts from all his family. He loved everything he got. Saturday he plans to go to Chuck e Cheese with his friend Daniel. JT is trying out his new skateboard. We went to the park after and rode it around.

Saturday we celebrated JT's birthay with his friend Daniel. He's our neighbor and also is in JT's class. The cake(which is rice crispie treat, jt doesn't like cake) represents the Wii game De Blob. We took the boys to Chuck e Cheese and then came back and ate rice crispies.

Pinewood Derby

This year Brevin, with the help of Clint made this very cool car for the Pinewood Derby. He named it

the Silver Surfer. It was quit sleek! The competion was tuff though and he came in second over all, which I thought was fantastic. He had a lot of fun making and competing.

Snake in my House?

For a cub scout project Brevin is borrowing a snake from his Cub Leader for a month. As you can see it's kind of a big snake. The boys have enjoyed it. One day they were lying on the ground and letting the snake slither through their shirts. Brevin keeps it in his room. I can't believe he can sleep with it in the same room as him! He's had fun, but I'm looking forward to it going home.

Puzzle Time

One of these last Sundays, the boys were on a puzzle mission. They starting one puzzle, then another, then another until they decided to fill the whole table and benches. Pretty amazing, I think. They had a lot of fun, but were sad to find out that they had to be put away before bed, so we took a picture to make it last longer.
